The true meaning of Christmas!

Peace and Joy

I fell in love with this the
first time I saw it. I just had
to paint it. It was
designed by Carol van Tol.

My Texas family
A happy night at their school
celebrating with the twins.

One happy and loved Grandpa
The first thing the girls
wanted to do was to go, and
  decorate the cookies.
That meant we had to have
 milk and eat them.
Yummy !
Good night all.....

Crafting for Christmas

The last few days have been busy ones
around here. Getting ready for
Christmas. Michelle (my daughter) and
 the twins (her daughters) were
over today. We did a little crafting for
our friends. The twins had
a great time stamping, coloring, and putting
together little bags of candy for
their best friends. I love traditions like
making handmade items.

This photo was taken at the twins dance recital in June.

This is a cool treat for a
cold day.
Can you guess where I learned how
to make this? The Little Blue House. (Of course)

Santa 2011

Painting has always been my first love. This
year with a little push from my Daughter
I got out my paints, and
designed some new ornaments for 2011.
I have had a great time, and can't seem to stop
producing them...Watch out one might end
up on your tree! LOL

Rudolph swinging on JOY

This little guy was fun. It gave me
a new way for me to use stickles.
I painted JOY then went back and put
the stickles over the top.
It needed a little Bling....

This might be a little wild for
some of you.

I have done several of these all traditional
Christmas except for this one. My bedroom is
done in turquoise and animal prints. I still have to have
some Christmas in there. Miss Tracy taught this
several years ago, and then again this
year. I love it.

Thats all for tonight. Hank and I are off Christmas shopping
in the morning.....or should I say in a few hours.
Have a merry Christmas season.
